Day 2:
After breakfast take a Picnic Lunch with you descend 670m into the crater floor for game viewing, breaking for lunch at the Lerai picnic site. The crater is 14.5km. Wide and is home to all the big five and hence the same may be seen. Hippos, cheetah, antelopes and the spotted hyena are other species commonly seen as well as flamingoes on the crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at Simba campsite.
DAY 3: Lake Manyara Arusha
After breakfast depart for Arusha arriving by lunch time. Afterwards drive to JRO/Nairobi.

This is a short wildlife safari. Tarangire has the largest concentration of wildlife mainly in dry seasons eg August and May, there are over 300 species of birds recorded. Then proceed to the scenic Ngorongoro and tree climbing lions in L. Manyara

The best time to visit Tarangire National Park to view the wildlife is in dry season, from June-October.
Day 4: Tarangire - Arusha
After breakfast enjoy a morning game viewing drive in the Tarangire National Park. Return to campsite for lunch, and in the afternoon depart for Arusha.

During March to May the herds move in search of grazing to the southern section and in May to June, they move towards the western corridor of the park. Serengeti in the low season will still offer game viewing to match that of any park in Africa, and for some, the fact that there will be fewer tourists may be an added bonus.
Day 3: Serengeti Full day
Full day in Serengeti plains, search for wild game you might have missed the previous game drives. Morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Seronera Public campsite as the day before.

A safari briefing at breakfast prepares you for an exciting adventure. Depart for Tarangire National Park, named after the river that flows through the length of the park and provides a constant water source for the thousands of animals making their home here. Lunch at the camp/picnic lunch and enjoy a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and Overnight at the Tarangire/Kigongoni campsite.
This National Park, gazetted in 1970, is 118km away from Arusha town, which covers an area off 2600sq km that's about 1600 miles and derivers its name from the Tarangire River that flows through the center of the park. The river flows from south to north/northwest and empties its water in Lake Burungi. An exceptional collection of "Acacia tortilis" and baobab trees ahs become synonymous with the name Tarangire National Park. The best time to visit Tarangire National Park to view the wildlife is in dry season, from June-October.
Day 2: Tarangire Lake Manyara
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at the camp/picnic lunch followed by a late afternoon game drive. Lake Manyara is home to numerous birds, elephants, tree- climbing lions, hippos and buffaloes. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Manyara Twiga/Jambo/Fig Tree campsite.
Day 3: Lake Manyara Ngorongoro Crater
You will have an early morning start to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, host to the ?birthplace of man,? and home to a unique intact caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive in time for lunch. Later, visit a Maasai village. Dinner and Overnight at the Ngorongoro Simba Public campsite.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy breathtaking views of the crater as the sun rises. Descend 2000 feet below the rim of the crater for a full day of spectacular game viewing. The crater is home to abundant game, including the ?Big Five,? along with the black rhino, jackal and Cape buffalo. Lunch is served picnic style on the crater floor. Late afternoon you will drive to the Ngorongoro Simba Public campsite for dinner and Overnight.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti
This morning drive to Olduvai Gorge for a short visit to the site of the remains of prehistoric ?Nutcracker man.? Continue your journey to the world?s best-known park, the Serengeti. Named after the Masai word, ?Siringet,? for endless plains of short and long grass, the Serengeti is well known for its large prides of lion, cheetah, packs of wild dog and nearly a million or so wildebeest. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and a late afternoon game viewing drive Dinner and Overnight at the Seronera Public campsite.
Day 6: Serengeti Full day
Enjoy two full days of morning and late afternoon game drives. This day you have the opportunity to take an early morning balloon safari (extra cost) over the Serengeti Plains or continue with your scheduled game drive. In the late afternoon, you will head out for another game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Seronera Public campsite.
Day 7: Serengeti - Arusha
Breakfast. Drive back to Arusha to connect the flight to JRO/Zanzibar or shuttle to Nairobi.
